Who we are?

The McMinnville First Asembly of God Church is affilated with the Assemblies of God International and is a full Gospel (meaning it is a Spirit Filled Church, where we believe in the completeness of the Word of God).  We believe in the moving of the Spirit and speaking in tongues.  We pray for the sick in our services and believe that healing is for us today.  We are a church family that is led by the Spirit of God under the direction of our pastors.  The church is the body of believers gathered together to both worship our Heavenly Father and to gather strength from each other.  We hav e great time of fellowship in our church and all of our members participate in the activities as well as the services as they choose.  We are a working church, that is we do things for eacher other and our community.  We have been here since 1931 so we have a long history with the community that we serve.  We have a variety of programs in ur church with which you can be a part.  We are in the process of doing a community access church program and probably by the time you read this will be moving ahead with it.  We have a square block of property right here in downtown McMinnville and have a large facility to carry on the mission of the church.  When you visit you will feel a warm welcome and no doubt you will say as many do on their first visit that they feel at home.  It is our desire that you feel this way.  We, as members of our church extend to you the warm hand of fellowship and if you are looking for a church home, give us a try.  We care about you and want you to be a part of our church family.  Please feel free to call on us, if we can be of service to you.  May the Lord bless you.  Fred & Judy Rigwood, Pastors.
